Corsicana —   Second Mission Baptist Church, 909 S. Fifth, will hold a “Men Only” movement of God from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013. Area pastors/ministers will speak on the topics: 1) Breaking generational curses, 2) Receiving generational blessings, 3) Dead Men Walking, 4) No More Excuses. Rev. Fabian Jacko of Golden Gate, Dallas, will bring the sermon. Each one, reach one. Come and be blessed.

 The Liberty Tabernacle of God church family and Pastor Erma Waites invite the public to worship with them celebrating its “Man Up Ministry” program at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4. Honored Guest will be Pastor Tommy Seals, co-pastor Sandra Seals and the Harvest Worship Center family of Hillsboro. Brother Morell Thomas will serve as Master of Ceremony, Greetings and Occasion Deacon J.B. Brown. You are also invited to worship at 9 a.m. Sunday followed by Praise and Worship at 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays at 6 p.m. is Hour of Prayer and 7 p.m. is Bible Study (How to hear from God series0, and 8 p.m. Wednesdays is Praise and Worship/Choir Rehearsal.  Thirteenth Ave. Christian Church will hold a Benefit Barbecue Sale at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3 at A-1 Rental on Seventh Ave. behind Bush’s Chicken. Proceeds will go to the women’s group at 13th Ave. Christian Church.

Lifeline Family Fellowship Church at 5301 West Hwy 31, Corsicana, will hold a Teenage Bible Conference at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9 until 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10. Breakfast will be served and parents are asked to pick up their children no later than 10 a.m. Conference cost is $15 per teen, $25 for two, and $40 for three. Your children will truly be blessed of God, so send them out for the night in a loving environment. Then from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10 children ages 4 to 12 are invited for the Double Feature of The Lorax and Over the Hedge shown from 4 to 5:30 p.m. There will be a 30 minute intermission, hot dogs, chips and drink. This double feature will be $10 per child.
