Bob is a long-time resident of Corsicana who is finding it difficult to meet his monthly obligations following the death of his wife Imogene earlier this year. The theme for VBS is “The Mighty God.” Class groups are offered for age groups 2 years through adult. The adult class will meet for one hour only from 7 until 8 p.m. The commencement service will be held on Friday, June 21 at 7 p.m. All are invited to take part in VBS even if not pre-registered. May Sunday be a blessed day for all fathers on Father's Day. In observance of Father's Day, Sunday School and Morning Worship will be held as normally scheduled at 9:45 a.m. and 10:50 a.m. respectively. But, the Afternoon Worship will be dismissed in order to give families more time together on this special day. VBS will pre-empt the normal Wednesday night schedule this week only. Grief Share, sponsored by Northside Baptist Church, meets from 5 to 7 p.m. each Sunday at the Fellowship Center on Forest Lane (across the street from Northside). This is a special weekly seminar and support group for people who are grieving the death of someone close to them. Each Grief Share session includes a video seminar and group discussion. Grief Share is a non-denominational group and features biblical teaching on grief and recovery topics. This group is sponsored by people who understand what you are experiencing and want to offer you comfort and encouragement during this difficult time.
