Corsicana — Intercessors for Navarro County Men’s Prayer Breakfast will meet at Trinity Baptist Church,  1200 N. 13th at 6:45 a.m on Wednesday mornings. Please note the change of usual venue. Men who are interested in praying for all those in authority are welcome to join (1 Timothy 2:1-3) For more information, please call (903) 874-5561.

New Bethel Baptist Church in Goodlow, where E. Betts Jr. is pastor, will be sponsoring its Second Annual Musical Extravaganza at 6:30 p.m. June 15. The public is invited to come celebrate and sing.

Faith Lutheran Church will host a benefit dinner and pie auction on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 6 p.m. for Bob Diehl.  Bob is a long-time resident of Corsicana who is finding it difficult to meet his monthly obligations following the death of his wife Imogene earlier this year.  Donations will be matched by Thrivent for Lutherans.

Unity Baptist Church, 101 S. 30th St., where Chad Owens is Pastor, invites you to services: Sunday School 9:45 a.m. Sunday: worship and children’s church at 11 a.m., worship at 6 p.m., and Wednesday: Prayer meeting at 7 p.m., Kings Kids class meets the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month. Tuesday, a group from Unity visits shut-ins at 10 a.m. Thursday, there is a Bible study at Northwest Apartments Community Center at 7 p.m. Saturday Unity is having a Garage Sale and Bake Sale  to send children to Church Camp at Lake Texoma. Sunday, a group teaches and sings at Twilight Nursing Home at 9 a.m. and then goes to Country Meadows at 2 p.m.  For transportation to services, call (903) 872-2861. A nursery is open for church services.

Let Your Light Shine For Jesus Vacation Bible School.  Come on out to Roane Baptist Church on FM 3041 at Roane for lots of fun, Bible Study, Crafts, and Games.  We will also have a meal each night.  Petty's Chapel Baptist Church has joined together this year with Roane for Vacation Bible School.  All children and youth ages Pre K through 12th grade are invited to attend.  Nursery is available.  Dates are June 19 through the 21st.  Time is 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.  Those who need a ride please call Pastor Elvin Sikes P.C.B.C. at (903) 257-5690 or Pastor Russell Reed R.B.C. at (903) 641-2143.
