The House of Refuge, 627 W. Collin St., will hold its fifth annual fundraising concert at 7 p.m. Friday, May 3, at First Baptist Church sanctuary. Todd Jones will return for the fifth year as emcee.
“We have several returning favorite performers, but quite a few new performers, too,” said JoAnn Pierson, director of the House of Refuge.
Former directors and founders Wes and Liz Haefs will return to Corsicana with an “old favorite” performance.
Musical acts include First Baptist Church Choir; Billy Elias; Crystal Trevino; Shellie Buckey, Shellie O’Neal and the Fine Arts Dept. of Navarro College; Hispanic Fellowship Praise Team from FBC; Navarro College Students will perform a song using American Sign Language; Taylor Parks; Lydia Bailey, Todd Jones and Wayne Owen; Grace Worship Team; and Ruined and Redeemed from FBC Kerens.
“It will be a wonderful evening,” Pierson said. “Please come out and enjoy some wonderful gospel and praise music.”
