Corsicana — Sixth Ave. Baptist Church and its Reaching Out to You Ministry, 125 S. Fifth St., calls all Youth to its Inner-Outer City Cry at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013. Bishop k.d. davis sr. will bring the message for a Pastor’s Anniversary celebration at Faith Temple Ministries in Fairfield at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25.



Bethel A.M.E. Church, 101 N. Fourth St., is pleased to announce the 10th Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church will welcome Bishop Vashti Murphy McKenzie (presiding Plelate) and Mr. Stan McKenzie (10th Episcopal District W.M.S. Supervisor) as they tour churches of the Paul Quinn District where Rev. Dr. Marshall Hobbs Sr. is the presiding elder. Church tours begin the evening of Aug. 16 with a late evening prayer service at Bethel at 8:30 p.m. The public is more than welcome to attend this awesome occasion. Pastor and wife of Bethel are The Rev. Willie L. Greene Sr. and Sis. June Greene.

Beulah Baptist Church of Wortham will hold its Annual Women’s Day Program at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013. The pastor is John L. Delancey, and the theme is “Heaven or Hell?” All family churches, friends and members are invited to come celebrate this event with them. All soloists, praise teams, choirs and acts are welcome.

Single Believers Ministries invites all to join them to show appreciation to Tinnis Manning in honor of his faithfulness toward the Juneteenth Parade for over 30 years. The event will be held at the Martin Luther King Jr. Center from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, 2013. Everyone is welcome to stop by to visit and encourage him for his faithfulness in the community.

Church on the Rock, 1405 SE McKinney, Rice, will hold a weekly Bible study at 7 p.m. Thursday nights beginning Thurs., Aug. 15. This study will be led by Bro. Frank Jones, who may be reached for more information at (903) 872-6316.
