Corsicana — The Coyote Squadron of the Commemorative Air Force meets at the Tucker Hardgrave Memorial Hangar at the South end of C. David Campbell Field, the Corsicana Municipal Airport.  There will be a staff meeting at 10 a.m. with the general meeting to follow at 10:30 a.m.  Prospective members and the public are invited to attend the general meeting.

The Shakers and Scrapers Car Club will hold its monthly Cruise In at the H & R Block Parking lot on W. Seventh Ave. The cruise will begin at 6 p.m. so bring your hot rod, muscle car, sports car, motorcycle, project, or anything that rolls. Even if you’re not showing a vehicle come by and take a look at all the cool cars and bikes. Be sure to bring your camera and have a great time looking at all the cool vehicles. Area farmers and ranchers are invited to attend The Texas Grazingland Conference at the Raddison Hotel in Fossil Creek July 15 to July 17. Nationally acclaimed speakers including Dr. Temple Grandin will be a part of the conference. The Navarro Council of the arts presents "With Six You Get Eggrolls" a Fine Art Exhibit featuring the works of Helen Albritton, Barbara Jones, Gladys Espenson, Deb Miller, Stephanie Ford, and Margie Taylor at the Warehouse Gallery from May 15 to July.  Exhibit is free and open to the public daily.

The Warehouse Living Arts Center production of “Moon over Buffalo,” Ken Ludwig's hysterically funny comedy, is guaranteed to keep audiences laughing. Veteran WLAC actor Gary Douglas will lead the cast of talented actors: Carlie Gehle, Sharon Goodman, C. David Hill, Randy Jones, Noah McBryde, Angel Sims and Rachel Williams. Sandra McClure Mahood is directing. The evening performances on July 18 to 20, 23, and 25 to 27 will begin at 7:30 p.m. The matinee on Sunday, July 21 will begin at 2 p.m. Tickets are on sale at the WLAC box office located at 119 W Sixth Avenue in downtown Corsicana or may be purchased online at www.warehouselivingartscenter.com.     A baseball coach at heart, about a year ago Aaron Tidwell began to seriously focus on education administration. He just didn’t think an opportunity would present itself so soon. Mildred Independent School District board members approved the 31-year-old Corsicana native as the high school’s new principal Monday night.
