Corsicana — Lone Star Cowboy Church of Navarro County, located at 4495 W. State Hwy. 22, invites all to join us for our Sunday Church Service starting at 10 a.m. We have nursery for babies through age 2 years and activities for 3 and 4 year olds. Children ages 5 through 12 are invited to meet in the children's building for Children's Church. We also have the following activities, Monday Nights at 7 p.m. Mounted shooting and Celebrate Recovery. Tuesday Night Women's Fellowship at 6 p.m. and Team Ropin' at 7 p.m. Wednesday Night Bible Study 7 p.m., Youth Dinner 6:30-7 p.m. and Youth Service 7 p.m. Thursday Practice is at 7 p.m.  On April 19, May 24, June 21 and July 19 there will be a Team Sorting Buckle Series with books opening at 6 p.m. and the sorting starting at 7 p.m. For more information contact John McLain at (903) 641-6648. There will be a Play Day June 1 at Lone Star, books will open at 8 a.m. and Play Day starts at 9 a.m. Events will be Cloverleaf Barrels, Straightaway Barrels, Flag Race, Speed Race, Poles and Potato Race, with special events for the kids: mini bull riding and mutton bustin.  Open Bible Study is held every Thursday morning at the Senior Activity Center, with singing beginning at 10 a.m. Bible Study is from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., and everyone is welcome. For more information, contact Fred Biltz at (903) 654-4979.

Grief Share, sponsored by Northside Baptist Church, meets from 5 to 7 p.m. each Sunday at the Fellowship Center on Forest Lane (across the street from Northside). This is a special weekly seminar and support group for people who are grieving the death of someone close to them. Each Grief Share session includes a video seminar and group discussion. Grief Share is a non-denominational group and features biblical teaching on grief and recovery topics. This group is sponsored by people who understand what you are experiencing and want to offer you comfort and encouragement during this difficult time. You are welcome to begin attending the Grief Share group at any session. Each is “self-contained,” so you do not have to attend in sequence.
