Kerens Ex-Students Association invites the public to come celebrate Mother's Day at the KESA building downtown and help local students go to college!  Serving from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Take out available. Reservations appreciated but not necessary.  Call or text (903) 654-8138. Menu includes Ham or Chicken cordon bleu, cheese potatoes, pinto beans, tossed salad, rolls and tea, with choice of pineapple cake or strawberry poke cake for dessert. Adult meals are $9. Children’s menu (12 and under for $4) includes chicken nuggets, cheesy potatoes or pinto beans.

Woodmen of the World Lodge 5 will have its meeting at 6 p.m. in the Lodge Hall at 200 W. Oak Lawn.  All members, their families and guests are cordially invited.

The Corsicana Emergency Corps., located at 416 South 12th Street in Corsicana, will hold its regularly scheduled monthly meeting at 7 p.m. The public is invited to attend. Monthly meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. For further information, please call 903-872-5072.

When Are We Going Home Ministry will hold its Rising Star Creative Ministry at New Beginnings Family Fellowship in Blooming Grove at 6 p.m. All events are free and open to children with medical challenges, disabilities and special needs and their immediate siblings. www.whenarewegoinghome.com.

Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1009 will meet at 7 p.m. at the Sirloin Stockade, 2508 West Seventh Ave. Membership is open to U.S. armed forces veterans who served on active duty (for other than training purposes) in the Republic of Vietnam between Feb. 28,1961 and May 7,1975, or in ANY duty location between Aug. 5,1964 and May 7,1975. The veteran must submit a copy of his/her DD Form 214 along with the application and dues. Members and guest are invited to come early and eat and visit prior to the meeting.

The National Association of Active/Retired Federal Employees (NARFE), Chapter 1191, will hold its monthly meeting from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Sirloin Stockade restaurant in Corsicana. Come and join us.  Members and guests are welcome. James Daniel, Grand Secretary for Texas Lodges of Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF), and Nancy Chew, Office Manager, will be our guest speakers.
