VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) Site will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. to assist the elderly and low income to file their tax returns at the Kerens Public Library. To schedule an appointment call  281-682-0928.

The Knights of Columbus will be serving up fried catfish, fresh and hot with all the trimmings, on Friday nights through April 11.  Serving starts at 5:30 p.m. in the J.L. Collins Catholic School cafeteria and continues until 8 p.m. Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and James L. Collins Catholic School are located at 3000 West Highway 22 in Corsicana. The American Legion Post 22, 632 N. Beaton St., will host Karaoke Night with Country Sue from 8 p.m. to midnight. The Navarro County Democratic Party will hold a county convention at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 22 at the Navarro County Courthouse first floor. All Democrats are asked to attend.
