Corsicana — Benefit for Sister Vergie and Elder Willie Brown who lost their home, car, and all their possessions in a house fire March 16. This benefit program will be held Saturday, April 6 at Taylor Memorial Church, 1624 East G.W. Jackson Ave., beginning at 5 p.m. It is sponsored by the Taylor Memorial Church family. “But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.” 1 John 3:17-18. Please avail yourselves to a blessing to the Browns.
