The Corsicana Art League will hold an exhibit at the Warehouse Living Arts Theatre Gallery.

April 18

Navarro College Multimedia Department presents Media Fest 2013, to be held at 10 a.m. at the Cook Center Planetarium at Navarro College. This is a great opportunity to see the best work produced by our multimedia students during the last year. There will be photography, drawings, paintings, 3-D, music, and video on display on the planetarium ceiling. Everyone is welcome. April 20

The American Legion, Post 22, 632 N. Beaton St., will have a Fish Fry with all the trimmings from 4 to 8 p.m.  Price is $10 per plate (all you can eat) or $6 per plate for carry out.  The Post will be rocking with the One Less Monkey band starting at 9 p.m.

Senior Circle Group of Navarro Regional Hospital will travel by motor coach to New Orleans April 22-26.  We still have seats available. Contact Connie Beal at (903) 654-6892 for more information.

When Are We Going Home Ministry and its Spirit Sent Music Ministry will meet at New Beginnings Family Fellowship in Blooming Grove at 6 p.m. This is the night of the Annual Talent Show. Mystery Art in Tuckertown is a silent auction and reception featuring local artists. This fundraiser supports the efforts of both the Navarro Council of the Arts and VOICE. “Pillars of our Past, Celebrating the people, places, and events in Navarro County History”  will be the theme this year. Mystery Art in Tuckertown will feature 8 x 10 art work with silent bids starting at $35. The art will be on display at the Warehouse Living Arts Center April 17-26. There will be a reception with food and drinks which will feature the artwork from 5:30 to 7 p.m. April 25 at the Warehouse Living Arts Center, 119 W.  Sixth Ave. Artist’s names will be revealed at the end of the auction. No tickets or reservations required, donations appreciated. Both amateur and professional artists interested in donating artwork should call (903) 872-5411.
