The Corsicana City Council will vote on whether or not to cancel the municipal elections when the group meets in regular session at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Government Center, 200 N. 12th St.
With all the seats unopposed, the city is permitted by state law to cancel the election and save thousands of dollars.
Also on the agenda is a budget change, to the tune of $38,000; a request to close an alley between South Seventh Street and the railroad tracks, and the audit presentation.
