Monday school board meeting at Tiger Stadium

Corsicana — The search for a new football coach at Corsicana High School could come to an end at Monday's school board meeting. Trustees are scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. Monday in the Community Room at Tiger Stadium.

The search committee for a new coach met Friday to review three finalists for the post, to replace former football coach Phil Castles.

"I am very pleased with the search," said CISD Superintendent Dr. Diane Frost. "We had the highest quality of candidates I've ever seen."

The agenda for Monday’s CISD Trustee’s meeting includes a closed session to discuss the football coach position.

Also on Monday’s CISD agenda:

• First reading of a policy update.
