Corsicana — Law enforcement officials have issued an “all clear,” after a thorough search of Corsicana High School. Classes at the campus will begin at normal times on Tuesday.

That's the word Tuesday morning from the Corsicana Independent School District after a bomb threat found Monday afternoon was checked out by campus and city police and Corsicana firefighters.

The district said a message threating to blow up the high school on Tuesday was written on a DAEP restroom wall. After school authorities found the message, evening activities at the campus were ended early and a complete search of the campus was done by law enforcement and school personnel.

In a statement in the press release, Superintendent Dr. Diane Frost said: "We cannot begin to question the sincerity of the threat. We will proceed with every precaution to protect the safety of our students and staff."

An additional CISD police officer will be on campus Tuesday, the district announced Tuesday morning. Students and staff are reminded to report any suspicious activity.
