Corsicana — Eureka Crime Watch will hold its regular monthly meeting at 1:30 p.m. at the Eureka United Methodist Church. Special guest will be Gail Barlow from Guardian Healthcare. Changes are in the wind so don’t miss this informative meeting. Refreshements will be served.
Navarro Regional Hospital’s Senior Circle presents an AARP Drivers Safety Course from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the hospital classrooms. It is a one day Driver Safety Program refresher course designed for drivers 50 years of age and older, but is open to anyone. The cost of the course is $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members. Corsicana Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) will be at the Corsicana YMCA from 2 to 7 p.m. If you are low income (usually under $42K) or elderly, and in need of tax filing assistance, take advantage of this free program. This year VITA will see clients with apopintments first and then work with walk-ins. VITA is at the YMCA on Tuesdays and Thursdays and at the Kerens Library on Wednesdays from 1 to 4 p.m. Call George Burrell at (903) 879-2091 to schedule your appointment.
Blooming Grove Crime Watch will meet at 7 p.m. at the Blooming Grove Volunteer Fire Department station. The speaker will be Navarro County Deputy Sheriff Melanie Cagle. Light refreshments will be served and everyone is welcome.
