Corsicana — A strong thunderstorm system moved rapidly through Navarro County about 7 p.m. Friday, bringing with it heavy rain and winds, and causing some minor flooding.
Tree limbs were reported down in many areas of the county as a result of the storms, along with scattered reports of debris blown into roadways. Widespread power outages were also reported as the storms moved quickly to the south.
First responders and weather watchers kept an eye on the storms, which prompted a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the area as the heaviest storms approached.
