Corsicana — Life in the Word Bible Church, 1408 N. Beaton, Corsicana and Pastor Emma Jessie welcome you to come celebrate its 11th Church Anniversary at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 2013. This worship experience will be held at Sixth Avenue Baptist Church where Bishop K.D. Davis Sr. is the senior pastor, located at 125 S. Fifth St. Guest speaker of the hour will be Lady Elect Prophetess Rhonda Coleman from Gate Community Church International located at 702 W. Tyler St., Athens where Apostle Alan Coleman is the senior pastor.

Trinity Bibleway COGIC, 102 Lawrence St., Trinidad, will celebrate its Third Church Anniversary at 7 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2013 with guest speaker Min. Kenneth Albert of Open Door COGIC overseer. The Liberty Tabernacle family and Pastor Waites, located at 2708 W. Eighth Ave., invites you to its upcoming “Time of Refreshing.” Guest Evangelist will be Eldress Mary Henderson, Church of the Living God, Athens. It will be at 7 p.m. Friday, April 26. Intercessory prayer will begin at 6:10 p.m. Maybe you are in the valley of indecision or depression, or you may be in the wilderness of despair, come and be spiritually recharged with a time of refreshing in the presence of the Lord. Sixth Avenue Baptist Church will hold a Bake Sale at Ole Foods, 100 N. 15th St., from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 4. Come by and eat Barbecue sandwich, chips and drink for $5. Try Aunt Hazel’s homemade 7Up Cake and Sock-It-To-Me Cakes, among other sweet treats.
