Corsicana — The Blooming Grove Crime Watch will meet at 7 p.m. at the Blooming Grove Historical Society Building, across from city hall. County Commissioner James Olsen will be the guest speaker. Everyone is welcome.

Third Annual Habitat for Humanity Eat & Skeet will be held at Upland Bird Country.  Friday night steak dinner with beer, wine and live music at 6:30 p.m., tickets $40/person. Saturday shooting, registration at 7 a.m., breakfast and lunch served.  $200/two man team with great prizes for winners. The Kinsloe House hosts the October first Sunday luncheon at Kinsloe House on Oct. 6, 2013. The luncheon will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the usual time.  The luncheon will consist of a Caesar salad, chicken with marsala and mushroom sauce over angel hair pasta or Pork Loin with a glaze on it.  Vegetables will be corn casserole and glazed carrots. Desserts will be your choice of pumpkin roll or a wonderful, unusual chocolate cake. There will also be a sugar free dessert, if desired. Reservations must be made  by 12 noon, Friday, Oct. 4 by calling the Kinsloe House at (903) 874-5791, giving your choices of menu and time of reservation or email your reservation and choices to kinsloehouse@yahoo.com.
