Boys & Girls Clubs of Navarro County is holding a free Third Annual “Family Fall Festival,” scheduled for 6 to 10 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Navarro Club. This free event is for the Community-At-Large, therefore everyone is invited to attend. There will be plenty of food, games, and activities. With our annual Pumpkin Carving Contest, Candy Apple Walk, and free raffle prizes, it's sure to be an evening to remember. You must be present to win. All food and raffle prizes will be shared on a First Come, First Serve basis. Little Harvard Academy located at 1427 W. Second Ave., Corsicana, will be having a Halloween festival open to the public. It will be from at 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 25, 2013. There will be games, bounce houses, finger foods, etc.

The Corsicana Newcomer's Club will hold it's annual fundraising event at 6 p.m. at the Corsicana Country Club. You don't have to be a Newcomer to enjoy this fun event as the community is invited to come to this year's Blue Jeans, Boots & Bids auction, dinner and dance featuring music by Byron Haynie. A live and silent auction will be held. Proceeds raised from this event go to support local community non-profit organizations. Tickets are $25 per person. VFW Post 3366 will have a dance from 8 p.m. to midnight in the ballroom side of the VFW Post 3366 off of W. Hwy 31. Randy Blue and The Full House Band will be the entertainment for the evening. There will be a $5 cover charge at the door.
