Grand Jury: Houston area rapper indicted locally on drug charges

Corsicana —  A multi-platinum selling rap artist from Houston was indicted Thursday by the Navarro County Grand Jury during its May panel.

Wesley Eric Weston, known professionally as “Lil’ Flip,” was indicted on charges of possession of a controlled substance over 400 grams. Weston and another man, Dematrius Delane Richardson, were arrested by DPS troopers Oct. 18, 2012, while traveling through the county, said R. Lowell Thompson, Navarro County District Attorney. Richardson was indicted on the same drug charge as Weston.

Also indicted Thursday on two counts of aggravated robbery was Zachory Cabano, 21, of Corsicana. Cabano is charged with the robbery of two convenience stores in Corsicana on April 29. Police arrested Cabano after receiving directions on his whereabouts from a citizen who followed Cabano’s truck after the second robbery.

Paul Jones, 33, was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury or death in the death of Stephen Felder, 45, of Corsicana. Felder was found unresponsive at a location on Regal Row on April 28. Signs of a physical altercation at the scene were found, according to sheriff’s investigators. He later died at Navarro Regional Hospital.

• Joshua Shane Fought, possession of a controlled substance under one gram; possession of a controlled substance over one gram/under four grams; possession of a controlled substance over 20 units/under 80 units.

• Dawn Nicol Forsythe, abandoning/endangering a child.

• Silvano Hernandez Gallegos, possession of a controlled substance under one gram.        

• Adrianna Garcia, fraudulent use of identifying information.    

• Jeffery Scott Gothard, possession of a controlled substance under one gram.

• Antonio Harris, evading arrest/subsequent.

• Amanda Christine Helm, possession of marijuana over four ounces/under five pounds; possession of a controlled substance over four grams/under 200 grams with intent to deliver.

• Kenesha Dawnyaell Hendrick, possession of a controlled substance under one gram.

• Charles Henry, aggravated assault.

• Jimmy Lee Honea, burglary of a building.

• Anthony Jarod Jackson, possession of a controlled substance under one gram.

• Delpha Kendrick Johnson, possession of marijuana over four ounces/under five pounds in a drug-free zone.

• Melvin Lamond Jones Jr., burglary of a habitation.

• Paul Joseph Jones, aggravated assault.

• Dustin Lee Longorio, burglary of a building.

• Duane Michael Lyle, evading with a vehicle.

• David Bradley Martin, DWI/3rd.

• Preston McDonald, DWI/3rd.

• Marshall Dean Mathis, burglary of a building.            

• Dustin Rex Price, burglary of a building (two counts).

• Taylor Von Waller, burglary of a building.            

• Dematrius Delane Richardson, possession of a controlled substance over 400 grams.

• Wesley Eric Weston, possession of a controlled substance over 400 grams.

• Amanda Delray Roberts, burglary of a building.

• Shamea Lekela Robinson, credit card abuse.
