Much of Corsicana received a brief power blip Tuesday morning around 10 a.m. when something interfered with the transmission line, according to an Oncor spokeswoman.
“Our transmission line tripped,” said Pat Ann Wilson with Oncor. “Everybody saw a blink. Everybody was out just momentarily.”
The three substations are all fed by that same line, so it affected almost everyone. Oncor workers are patrolling the lines now to try and determine the cause of the brief outage.
There are four smaller outages in the area, but those are unrelated to the larger blip, Wilson said.
