Navarro County AARP Chapter 4653 will meet at 2 p.m. in the Community Room at Northwest Apartments, 1360 North 13th Street. Pres. Nora Thomas urges all members to attend. For more information call 903-396-2765.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Navarro County is holding a free Third Annual “Family Fall Festival,” scheduled for 6 to 10 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Navarro County Club. This free event  and everyone is invited to attend. There will be plenty of food, games, and activities, including a pumpkin carving contest, candy apple walk, and free raffle prizes - must be present to win. All food and raffle prizes will be shared on a first come, first serve basis. For more information, contact Tasha White or Mary Wilson at 903-872-9231.

Angels of Corsicana Troop Support welcomes and needs volunteers to set up and receive donations for its Garage Sale, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. If you can volunteer to work the garage sale either Friday, Oct. 25 or Saturday, Oct. 26, please contact Jean O’Connor, (903) 851-2560 or jeanie359pete@yahoo.com. Donations are needed for this sale. All proceeds go to the Christmas mailing to our military, young men and women from Navarro County stationed across the globe.

                                          

Oct. 25

Little Harvard Academy located at 1427 W. Second Ave., Corsicana, will be having a Halloween festival open to the public. It will be from at 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. There will be games, bounce houses, finger foods and other activities.

Oct. 26

The American Legion Post 22, 632 N. Beaton St., will host Karaoke Night with Country Sue from 8 p.m. to midnight. For further information call 903-874-3936 after 2 p.m.

The Corsicana Newcomer's Club will hold it's annual fundraising event at 6 p.m. at the Corsicana Country Club. The public is invited to come to this year's Blue Jeans, Boots & Bids auction, dinner and dance featuring music by Byron Haynie. A live and silent auction will be held. Proceeds raised from this event go to support local community non-profit organizations. Tickets are $25 per person.
