CISD seeks input with survey

Corsicana — The Corsicana Independent School District is asking parents to share their thoughts about how well district staff managed the first few days of school and events leading to the first day of fall 2013 through an online survey available now. The fall enrollment survey will provide the district with valuable feedback it can use to improve the policies, procedures and practices that guide the commencement of the school year.

The survey is the latest initiative in an ongoing communication strategy aimed at collecting valuable input from CISD constituents.

“It’s important to me that we solicit quantitative information that we can use to make improvements to our services,” said Corsicana ISD Superintendent Dr. Diane Frost. “Hearing from parents about how well we handled the opening of the school year will help us be well prepared for the following year.”

Parents who have provided the district with their email addresses will receive email invitations to participate, while the survey will be accessible to all parents through a link on the district’s website.

All responses will be anonymous and confidential to encourage candid feedback and widespread participation.

Once the survey has closed on Nov. 13, CISD will share highlights and actions to be taken based on the survey results.

“It’s very important that our students start the year off strong,” Frost said. “By working together, we can provide them with the resources and support they need to maximize their academic potential.”

Those who wish to participate can access the survey via the district’s website at www.cisd.org/cisd.
