Amelia Barton Church of the Living God, 917 G.W. Corsicana Ministerial Alliance is sponsoring the Community Thanksgiving Service at 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012 at Calvary Worship Center, 1364 N. Beaton St. Everyone is cordially invited to attend. There will be music, including an appearance by Southern Joy, and keynote speaker is Dr. Bayard Pratt, pastor of the First United Methodist Church.

Navarro County Men’s Prayer Fellowship will meet at First Baptist Church, 510 W. Collin, at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012. Breakfast will be provided.

The Community of Kerens will host a Thanksgiving Service at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18 at Kerens High School. Speaker for the evening is Pastor Samuel Washington of New Hope Baptist Church. The public is invited. Psalms 107:1 “Oh give thanks unto the Lord for He is good, for His mercy endureth forever.” The doors are open and you are welcome.
