The program will be presented by Sandra Mahood, executive director of the Warehouse Living Arts Theatre.
Sandra will be giving a delightful book review of “The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society.” This is a delightful book by Mary Ann Shaffeer and Annie Barrows which relates the facts and happenings on the Isle of Guernsey during the occupation by the Germans in World War II. Those of us who have memories of that period in history will remember things that happened in WW II.
Members are reminded that reservations and cancellations are due in by noon May 20 by calling (903) 874-7591. This will be a delightful outing for members of Kinsloe.
