Corsicana Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) will be at the Corsicana YMCA from 2 to 7 p.m. If you are low income (usually under $42K) or elderly, and in need of tax filing assistance, take advantage of this free program. This year VITA will see clients with appointments first and then work with walk-ins. Corsicana Apartment Association will host Dr. Tommy Stringer, Executive Director of the Navarro College Foundation, as he presents the program for the monthly meeting at 5:30 p.m. at the Kinsloe House. Dr. Stringer will present a power point program on the early days of Navarro College, the campus and the people involved in the early development of Navarro College.
