Three separate accounts have been set up for the family of Perry Calvin, the firefighter killed in the West explosion on Wednesday. The 37-year-old Emmett resident was a volunteer with the Navarro Mills and Mertens fire departments, and was attending Hill College Fire Academy, and doing his EMT training in West. He is survived by a wife and two sons. They are expecting a third child in November.
He did not have any life insurance.

On May 4, the proceeds of a car show and live auction will go towards the Calvin family, according to organizer Bob Reddish. The show will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Third Avenue betwen Main and Beaton.
