Corsicana — One suspect is in custody and a second is being sought in connection with an early morning robbery Saturday at Arizona Charlie's Bingo Hall in Rice.

Navarro County Sheriff Elmer Tanner said county deputies responded along with Rice Police to the call about 6 am Saturday when an employee of the bingo hall reported two suspects had taken a cash machine from the building.

The two suspects fled in a vehicle and crashed near the bingo hall. One suspect was captured at the scene while a second fled on foot, Tanner said.

The suspect in custody is presently being held on outstanding warrants, and authorities believe they know the identity of the second suspect, Tanner said.

The Rice Police Department has taken over the investigation and additional charges are expected.
