HILLSBORO — A body found over the weekend in northern Hill County has been identified as a 23-year-old woman who had been missing for about a week.

The Hill County sheriff's office says in a news release that the body discovered Saturday has been identified as Kasie Clary of Hillsboro, located about 60 miles southwest of Dallas. The sheriff's office says family members had reported to Hillsboro police that Clary had been missing since April 28.

Justice of the Peace Charles Jones of Hill County said Monday morning that a cause of death has not yet been determined. The Dallas County medical examiner's office identified the body Sunday.

Investigators with the Hillsboro police and Hill County sheriff's office are investigating.
