Corsicana — A man who led lawmen on a three-county chase that started in Navarro County and ended in Bellmead was indicted Thursday on charges of evading arrest.

Bobby Keene, 43, of Frankston was arrested March 4 after lawmen disabled his pickup truck with tire spikes and his vehicle hit in a “pit” maneuver as he approached a heavily populated area on Highway 31 in Bellmead. Keene had eluded officers from the Navarro County Sheriff’s Office, Hubbard Police, McLennan County Sheriff’s Office and troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety. Keene faces additional charges in McLennan County in connection with the incident.

Thursday’s grand jury session also saw a re-indictment in the case of Nicole Zalkovsky, a former Corsicana Salvation Army employee accused of theft. Navarro County District Attorney R. Lowell Thompson said the re-indictment was requested to make minor changes to the wording of original indictment issued in November.
