Westside Baptist Church will have its Fifth Sunday Gospel Singing Celebration at 6 p.m. Sunday, March 30, featuring Southern Joy. The quartet has been singing together for many years and have blessed and brought joy to the hearts of those who have heard them. A southern style fellowship will follow the service. The Liberty Tabernacle family and Pastor Erma Waites will host “Holy Ghost Encounter” with Apostle Dan Layne as the instructor at 7 p.m. nightly Sunday, March 30 through Wednesday, April 2. Four nights of simplistic, dynamic, in-depth teaching on the third person of the Trinity, the Holy Ghost. Note: The “Send the Praise Up” which was scheduled for March 22 will be rescheduled at a later date. Liberty Tabernacle is located at 2708 W. Eighth Ave. (behind the Cox’s Carpet and the bowling alley). Sunday School begins at 9 a.m., followed by Praise and Worship Service at 10:30 a.m.; Super Wednesday Intercessory Prayer at 6 p.m., followed by Bible Study at 7 p.m. where we are currently discussing Heaven, and followed at 8 p.m. by Praise and Worship choir practice.
