Sixth Avenue Baptist Church, 125 S. Fifth St., invites you to its Appreciation Banquet for pastor Bishop k.d. davis sr. at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the Cook Center, 3800 W. Seventh Ave. Keynote speaker will be Bishop R.L. Davis of Emmanuel’s Upper Room COGIC, Waxahachie. Musical guest will be Vision of Destiny from Dallas. Lone Star Cowboy Church of Navarro County, located at 4495 W. State Hwy. 22, invites all to join us for our Sunday Church Service starting at 10 a.m. We have nursery for babies through age 2 years and activities for 3 and 4 year olds. Children ages 5 through 12 are invited to meet in the children's building for Children's Church. We also have the following activities, Monday nights at 7 p.m. Mounted Shooting and Celebrate Recovery; Team Ropin' at 7 p.m., Wednesday Night Bible Study at 7 p.m., Youth Dinner from 6:30 to 7 p.m. and Youth Service, also on Wednesdays.  In March, UCCA Mounted Shooting Finals-Red Oak will be March 15. Open Mic night will be March 21, with March 23 as Communion Sunday. Eatin’ Meetin’ will take place Sunday, March 30, and Christ in the Passover will be 6 p.m. April 7.

Wesley United Methodist Church, 3308 N. Beaton, will host a Fifth Sunday Singing and Dinner Sunday, March 30. The Douglas Family will perform from 5 to 6 p.m., followed by a lasagna dinner which will be $8 for adults and $4 for children. Take out dinners available.

Petty’s Chapel Baptist Church, 1300 FM 3041, where Elvin Sikes serves as Pastor would like to invite everyone to our worship services.  Petty’s Chapel Baptist Church is located on Old Roane Road a half mile east of I-45. Sunday worship begins at 8:30 a.m. There is a short time of fellowship and Sunday School begins at 9:45 a.m. We have a second Worship Service at 11 a.m. Our Wednesday night prayer and Bible study begins at 6:30 p.m. We are presently in Exodus as we continue in our Pentateuch studies. In the age that we live in it is of great importance that we assemble ourselves together for the glory of God and the furtherance of His Kingdom. Everyone welcome!
