The Navarro Council of the Arts is pleased to present, The Rainbow Fish, for all K-2nd graders in Navarro County. Students grades K-2nd will have the opportunity to see the National Tour of The Rainbow Fish on Monday, March 4th and Tuesday, March 5th at the Corsicana Palace Theatre.
The Rainbow Fish wonders why none of the other fish want to talk to him. He won’t share his silver scales with them, but he is still magnificent to look at. Isn’t that enough? The wise old octopus, though, has some advice; she tells him to share his gift with those around him in order to make friends at last. This advice takes the Rainbow Fish by surprise at first, but he decides to give it a try when a little blue fish asks for one tiny scale. He is shocked to discover that spreading his splendor to others rather than keeping it all for himself is a wonderful feeling! Even without the only shimmering scales in the ocean, the Rainbow Fish has become truly happy.
ArtsPower has turned a bestselling book into a joyful celebration of unselfish friendship and discovering one’s inner beauty that is sure to delight young audiences.
