The Navarro Council of the Arts presents Black Violin, Classical Musicians for all fifth through 12th graders at the Corsicana High School auditorium. Shows will be held at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. both days. For more information contact the Navarro Council of the Arts at (903) 872-5411.

Navarro Regional Hospital Auxiliary will host a uniform sale in the hospital classrooms from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. All proceeds wil benefit the NRH Auxiliary Scholarship Fund for students at Navarro College going into a medical field. Contact Connie Beal for more information at (903) 654-6892.

Kinsloe House Program/Yearbook Committee, headed by Marsha Banks and Pearl Skewes, will present a favorite author, Anne Mateer, who entertained us last year with her book, published in 2011, Wings of a Dream.  This year she will be entertaining us with her book, published in 2012, At Every Turn; and her new book, which will be out in September, A Home for my Heart. She is a pleasure to know and hear. She will be selling her books at the luncheon.

Eureka Crime Watch will hold its regular monthly meeting at 1:30 p.m. at the Eureka United Methodist Church. Special guest will be a game warden from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Dept. Plans will be made for the annual picnic, and cash donations will be accepted for Perry Calvin’s family and the West Volunteer Fire Dept. Donations will be divided equally and delivered in person to the recipients. The public is invited and refreshments will be served.
