Overcast skies and cool conditions made for a great Derrick Days Oil Town Mini-Thon race Saturday through Community Park.
Participants took part in a 5K run, and a 1-mile fun run/walk, all to raise money for local Lion’s Club charitable work. The event raised almost $9,000 for local charity according to Stuart Smith, club president.
