The Navarro Council of the arts presents "With Six You Get Eggrolls" A Fine Art Exhibit featuring the works of Helen Albritton, Barbara Jones, Gladys Espenson, Deb Miller, Stephanie Ford, and Margie Taylor at the Warehouse Gallery from May 15 to July.  Exhibit is free and open to the public daily.  

May 16-17, 19, 21, 23-24-25

 The Warehouse Living Arts Center presents the second show of the 2013 season ticket series. “The 39 Steps” will play for seven performances beginning Thursday, May 16. Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python and you have The 39 Steps, a fast-paced whodunit for anyone who loves the magic of theatre. The talented cast is led by Todd Jones featuring WLAC veterans Mark Bedgood, Emily Hines, Frank Means and Adam Walthall. Evening performances begin at 7:30 p.m. The matinee on Sunday, May 19 begins at 2 p.m. The theatre is located at 119 W. Sixth Avenue in downtown Corsicana across from the post office. Navarro County Genealogical Society will take a field trip to Mesquite Cemetery at 5 p.m. Tickets must be reserved in advance by calling (972) 216-6468. Reserve your space for the 6:30 performance. Nine characters will bring their history to life, and the tour is about 45 minutes. The group will meet at the parking lot behind the Corsicana Chamber of Commerce at 5 p.m. They will not make time to stop to eat so please plan accordingly. If you do not drive in the metroplex or at night, please call (903) 654-4808 to arrange a ride.

The Emhouse 53rd School Reunion will be held at 11 a.m. at the Taylorosa Event Center on West Hwy. 22 and FM 744 in Corsicana. All faculty, students and friends are welcomed to attend and share some time to relive those wonderful years at Emhouse School. At our last reunion we had school students from 1941 through 1959 when the school closed. Everyone is asked to bring a favorite dish to share a great meal with our friends. Dinner will begin at 12 noon after gathering at 11 a.m., and we’ll be dismissed by 2 p.m. Please make plans to attend.
