Jury for District Court Judge James Lagomarsino for this date has been dismissed.

Navarro Regional Hospital’s Senior Circle will host a physician lecture in the hospital classrooms from 12 to 1 p.m. Join Dr. Neal Green as he talks on “Beyond 50!” What happens to us after 50 years of age? Emhouse Community Center will have its last meeting until September at 7 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

Corsicana Art league will meet at 6 p.m. at the Senior Activity Center in Corsicana.  Tina Bohlman will be the guest artist. Tina is the founder and chairman of the “Paint Historic Waxahachie” event held annually. For more info call: (903) 519-9082.

Senior Circle from Navarro Regional Hospital is going to South Fork Ranch. Motor coach will depart the hospital parking lot at 9:30 a.m. We will tour the ranch, eat a barbecue dinner at Miss Ellie’s kitchen, tour the museum and more! Family Fun Night at the Rice Intermediate School will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the school. There will be hot dog dinners for $2 per plate; student science fair projects for third through eighth grades; and a Living Museum.

The City of Corsicana Police Department will hold an Open House on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, from 4 to  5 p.m. Citizens are welcome to visit the Police Department for a brief tour of the recently remodeled facility. Tours will begin in the lobby of the Police Department (entrance on Fifth Avenue side of the Government Center, 200 N. 12th Street).

A Closer Look at Poverty, a lunch series about poverty-related needs in Navarro County, will be held from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at Northside Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
