Corsicana — The Corsicana Emergency Corps., located at 416 South 12th Street in Corsicana, will hold its regularly scheduled monthly meeting at 7 p.m. The general public is invited to attend.  Monthly meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m.  For further information, please call 903-872-5072.

The Corsicana Newcomers' Club Lunch Bunch will travel to Ennis to enjoy a holiday lunch at Interior Ideas.  Call Pat Schroeder at 903-872-9663 for more information, directions and  reservations.  

Dec. 13

The Corsicana Newcomers' Club will hold its monthly meeting at Kinsloe House at 11 a.m. This meeting is early due to the Christmas Holiday.  Steve Colburn will perform a medley of favorite music and quite probably get us all in the Christmas Spirit! Jan. 25

Training for VITA volunteers (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at Navarro College. VITA site opens Jan. 28 through April 15. Volunteers would act as tax preparers for qualifying low income and elderly individuals. Shifts to work the VITA site are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2 to 5 p.m. or 5 to 7 p.m.
