Corsicana — The Navarro County Grand Jury issued 51 indictments against 42 individuals in its September meeting held Thursday at the Navarro County Courthouse.

The panel indicted Darwon D. Richardson, 27, on a charge of murder in the connection with the June 12, 2013 shooting death of LeQuirea Rochelle Chaney of Corsicana.

The shooting took place about 2:30 a.m. on June 12 in the 1700 block of East Sixth Avenue. Chaney was reported to have been shot outside of the house, and was later pronounced dead at Navarro Regional from a gun shot wound.

Special prosecutor John Jackson is handling the Richardson case, said Navarro County District Attorney R. Lowell Thompson.
