Suspect sought in gun incident

Corsicana — Navarro County Sheriff’s Office

• A beefalo heifer (half beef cow, half buffalo) was found loose Monday afternoon on FM 3383 near Emhouse.

• Thieves stole two tires and chrome rims, and the tail light for a 1992 Chevy Silverado around 8 a.m. Monday from an address on FM 3096 near Kerens.

• The burglary of building on Highway 14 near Richland netted more than $2,000 in fencing supplies, lawn and tractor equipment, tools, some bird shot shells, a camp stove, and a couple of marine batteries Friday.

• Four mailboxes on NECR 1060 and 1070 near Rice were destroyed by vandals Sunday. The suspect’s vehicle was described as a quad cab with loud pipes that sounded like a diesel.

• Burglars stole three window air conditioning units, two guns, a Honda ATV, two tires and two long chains from a building Sunday on FM 744 near Frost. Total value of the missing items was set at $1,910.

• The air conditioner/heating unit, a white porcelain commode, and all the wooden kitchen cabinets and the island were stolen out of a home Friday on NWCR 1250 near Emhouse. Loss is estimated at $6,500.
