Corsicana — James Blair Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution White Breakfast Installation will be held at the Kinsloe House at 11 a.m. The DAR is honored to have TSDAR Division Six Chairman, Anna Marie Lee and her husband Steve Lee from Tyler on this occasion. New officers will be installed by Mrs. Lee for 2014-2016 term of service. Hostesses for the event are all Past Regents of James Blair Chapter.

G.W. Jackson Heritage Rodeo will begin at 7 p.m. at the Navarro County Exposition Center. This pro rodeo still needs sponsorships. All funds raised will go toward construction of the G.W. Jackson Multi-Cultural Society building, to be located upon the site of the G.W. Jackson home. For more information, contact Charles Betts at (903) 654-4279.

American Cancer Society Relay for Life will be held from 2 to 10 p.m. at Mildred High School’s Asby Field.

Pickett Riding Club is ready to ride. Want some great family friendly fun for the whole crew? Come out to the Streetman arena on FM 416 and join us. Show starts at 11 a.m. Events are Cloverleaf Barrels, Straightaway Barrels, Poles, Speed, Flag, Potato and Keyhole. Exhibitions are $3, events are $5, and there is a $25 membership per family if you would like to join Pickett Riding Club. Age groups will be 6 and under, 7-9, 10-12, 13-17, and 18 and over. Marshall Cemetery Association annual luncheon and business meeting will be held on Saturday, May 17, at 12 noon at Heritage Oaks West Nursing Home on W.
