Corsicana — RE/MAX of Corsicana

Last month RE/MAX of Corsicana and RE/MAX Lakeside Dreams agents attended the 36thannual RE/MAX of Texas Convention in San Marcos. Owners, John and Julie Teel and agents, Hope Teel and Aric Bonner were in attendance, with all four agents receiving awards.

Broker/Owner, Julie Teel, has been working in the real estate industry for more than 16 years and has extensive knowledge of the Corsicana area, specializing in waterfront property on Richland Chambers Lake. This year, Julie qualified for the prestigious Platinum Club Award for 2012, which honors top producing agents who closed in excess of eight million dollars during 2012. The presentation was made during the RE/MAX of Texas Statewide Convention in San Marcos in February.

Both John Teel and Aric Bonner qualified for the RE/MAX 100 Percent Club Award, which recognizes successful agents closing in excess of $3 million in real estate transactions within the calendar year. In 2011, only 18 percent of all REMAX Affiliates earned this prestigious award. In addition, Hope Teel was honored for her sales production with induction into the prestigious RE/MAX Executive Club for Top Producers who closed more than $1.5 million in transactions last year. That translates into help for a large number of our area residents in achieving their home buying or selling goals. Also receiving awards were Karen Williams and Carolyn Russell who were not in attendance.

The Teel Team also attended the 40th annual RE/MAX R4 Convention in Las Vegas last month, learning the latest real estate techniques and networking with other RE/MAX agents from around the world. The intensive training and educational sessions focused on helping families face the current economic situations and how to best serve real estate buyers and sellers. speakers included RE/MAX Co-Founder and Chairman Dave Liniger, the company’s CEO Margaret Kelly, Condeleezza Rice and Brian Buffini among others. convention also marked the celebration of the 40thanniversary of RE/MAX

“The convention is a huge opportunity to add to your expertise and it’s very important to your clients,” said Julie, Broker/Owner.  “The more training you have, the better prepared you are to help your buyers and sellers in this market.”

In recently released stats for the 4th quarter of 2012, The Teel Team was also recognized as one of the top five producing teams in the Vangaurd Council for the state of Texas.

RE/MAX is one of the leading real estate franchise companies with the most productive sales force in the industry and a global reach of more than 85 countries.
