Corsicana — Dec. 14

Corsicana Cloggers invite the public to join at 11 a.m. as we show our gratitude to Corsicana with our Sixth annual  “Give Back to Corsicana” Christmas Clogging Concert at the Senior Activity Center - Park Ave. and 18th.  Share our hot wassail, sodas and home-made cookies while the Corsicana Cloggers dance to your favorite Christmas songs. All are welcome.

The Coyote Squadron of the Commemorative Air Force meets at the Tucker Hardgrave Memorial Hangar at the south end of C. David Campbell Field, the Corsicana Municipal Airport.  There will be a staff meeting at 10 a.m. with the general meeting to follow at 10:30 a.m.  Prospective members and the public are invited to attend the general meeting.  

The Shakers and Scrapers will have a Cruise In and its annual Toy Drive for the holidays on Saturday, Dec. 14 at the corner of Beaton and First Ave at 3 p.m. The toys will be given to The Salvation Army to distribute. Please come out and join us for this event. Bring the kids and your camera.

Dec. 17

The Corsicana Art League will have its December meeting at 6 p.m. at Napoli’s. Spouses are welcome to join us for our Christmas party. Please bring a small painting or art supply as an exchange gift. We hope to see you there.

Dec. 18

The Kinsloe House (and its Finance Committee) will host “Caroling on a Sleigh Ride with you” where members of the Corsicana High School band and ensemble singing group will bring all kinds of holiday music to really get in the swing of the holiday season.  This is our last program luncheon of 2013. There will be a Board meeting at 1:15 p.m. after the program. This group of young people will warm our hearts in this cold weather.
