Corsicana — Harmony Baptist Church, 400 East 12th Avenue, Corsicana, will hold its Fifth Sunday Mission Day Service on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013 at 11:30 a.m.  Special guest speaker will be Sis. Dinah Shitanda, member of Gospel Springs International Church, Ft. Worth, Pastor William Laktari. The theme for this service will be “Back To Business” from the scripture reference Luke 2:49. Please come and let us break bread together as we hear from this woman of God. Sis. Annie Solomon is mission president; Minister Vanessa Baker is First Lady; and Bishop John Baker is pastor.

Unity Baptist Church, 101 S. 30th St., where Chad Owens is Pastor, invites you to services: Sunday School 9:45 a.m. Sunday: worship and children’s church at 11 a.m., worship at 6 p.m., and Wednesday: Prayer meeting at 7 p.m., Kings Kids class meets the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month.  We now have Kings Kids for Teens also. Tuesday, a group from Unity visits shut-ins at 10 a.m. Thursday, there is a Bible study at Northwest Apartments Community Center at 7 p.m. Sunday, a group teaches and sings at Twilight Nursing Home at 9 a.m., also we will be having a Luncheon for Pastor Owens being the Pastor of Unity for nine years. Lone Star Cowboy Church of Navarro County, located at 4495 W. State Hwy. 22, invites all to join us for our Sunday Church Service starting at 10 a.m. We have nursery for babies through age 2 years and activities for 3 and 4 year olds. Children ages 5 through 12 are invited to meet in the children's building for Children's Church. We also have the following activities; Monday Nights at 7 p.m. Mounted shooting and Celebrate Recovery at 6 p.m. Tuesday Night Women's Fellowship at 6 p.m. and Team Ropin' at 7 p.m. Wednesday Night Bible Study 7 p.m., Youth Dinner 6:30-7 p.m. and Youth Service 7 p.m. Thursday Practice is at 7 p.m. There will be an Eatin’ meeting after church on Sept. 29. For more information call the church at (903) 872-1670. Oct. 2 we will be adding a children's bible study on Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. Children from Toddlers to the fifth grade are all welcome.
