Corsicana — Bethlehem Baptist Church, 409 North Third Street, will observe its Fifth Sunday program Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013. Women are in charge of the program. Brown Chapel AME Church in Pelham invites the public to join them for a service at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013 to recognize Deborah Douglas for her work in and for the church.

Kelly’s Temple COGIC at 501 N. Third invites you to come and join its congregation in a soul-saving Revival at 7:30 p.m. nightly Oct. 2-4. Bishop Annell Haney, Church of the Living God, Malakoff and Massey Lake will be the guest speakers. Come and be blessed. Host pastor is Elder Billy J. Kelly; First Lady Missionary Ruthie Kelly.

Pelham Community Homecoming will take place Oct. 11-13. At 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11 a Worship Service by Rev. Charles Kelly will be held at the Wesley United Methodist Church. Rev. Dennis Weaver will be the speaker. On Saturday, Oct. 12, from 2 to 6 p.m. will be Pelham “Fun and Frolic.” Family and friends activities at the Pelham Community History Museum, bring your lawn chairs, and the museum will be open for tours. Beginning at 9 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 13 will be Sunday School, followed by 10:45 a.m. Homecoming Worship Services held at the Wesley United Methodist Church, with Rev. Willie Green of Bethel AME Church, Corsicana as the speaker. Dinner will be served following the service at the Pelham Community Center.
