Corsicana — Frost Volunteer Fire Department will hold a fundraiser Car/Tractor Show and Barbecue Dinner from 1 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12. Awards will be given for Best Truck, Best Classic, Best Hot Rod, Best Car, Best Antique, and Best Tractor. Judging will be at 4 p.m. with awards presented at 5:30 p.m. All activities will be held at Frost VFD, 112 W. North Front St., Frost. There will be vendor booths, and a barbecue dinner at 5 p.m. Live music/street dance from 6 to 8 p.m., and a live auction at 7 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the Frost VFD. The Richland Creek Fall Festival will be held at 103 W. Main St., Civic Center, Richland from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All proceeds benefit the Richland Volunteer Fire Department and the Food Pantry. Mark Gorman will be performing live. There will be free fingerprinting and ID kits for kids, face and pumpkin painting, a bounce house, music, food and fun. Vendors will be Fairfield VFW, Kerens Artist, Frankie’s Crafts and More, Jewelry by Desiree, Sweet M’s Sweet Treats, Premier Designs, Fun & Festive Crafts, The Possum Hole, Ace, A Lil’ Bit of Texas Decor, Brand Me Sassy, Origami Owl, Nana’s Homemade Crafts, Fresh from the Lovin’ Home Bakery, Blessings Unlimited, It Works!, Scentsy, Yarnover, Brute Force & Ignorance Ironwerks, Lil Diva TuTu & Baby Bling Bowtique, The Handyman’s Toybox, EZ Duz It Now Photography, Tupperware, and Pine Tree Crafts.

The St. Elmo Cemetery Association will hold its annual cake sale and hotdog supper at 6 p.m. The cemetery is supported entirely by donations. If you cannot attend and wish to make a donation, please send it to St. Elmo Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 215, Streetman Texas 75859.

The Shakers and Scrapers Car Club will host its monthly cruise in at the H & R Block parking lot on W. Seventh Ave. at 6 p.m. So bring out your hot rods, muscle cars, sports car, motorcycles, project, or anything that rolls.  Even if you’re not showing a vehicle come by and take a look at all the cool vehicles. Be sure to bring your camera and have a great time looking at all the cool vehicles. There will be awards and door prizes. Hope to see you there. Also we will be having a garage sale at the corner of 1st Ave and Beaton (at the old Stewart Motor Co. Parking Lot) Saturday October 12, 2013 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm

to raise money for our local charities.  We will have lots of things to sell, so come on out an see us.
