Church News for Friday, Nov. 8, 2013

Corsicana — News and announcements submitted by congregations throughout Navarro County.

Petty's Chapel Baptist Church and Pastor Elvin Sikes invites you to join us for Worship this Sunday at 8:30 a.m. Sunday School begins at 9:45 a.m. We also have a second Worship Service at 11 a.m. We meet on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.  We are having a series titled, “Exploring The Bible.”  The series is an overview study of the Pentateuch. The Pentateuch consists of the first five books of the Bible. In the trying times that we live in, it is of upmost importance that individuals as well as families know the Word of God.  We are a Church that is focused upon ministry to the entire family.  We are located on old Roane Road a half mile east of I-45, 1300 FM 3041. For more information call (903) 257-5690 or (903) 875-0002.

Westside Baptist Church, in conjunction with the Billy Graham nationwide evangelistic campaign, “My Hope America,” and along with 22,000 other churches in America, is making revival plans to reach out to unsaved neighbors and loved ones with our only true hope: the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Over the past 12 years, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association has organized My Hope events in 57 nations bringing millions to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Now is America’s time! Bro. James Berryhill will be bringing the timely messages. He currently serves as a missionary in Bogota, Columbia where he is involved in church planting and leadership preparation. Bro. Grady Manning, gifted soloist and member of Westside, will be the worship leader. Nightly services will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 8-10, and the Sunday service is 11 a.m., followed by a fellowship meal and then a short 30-minute video by Billy Graham, “My Hope America, The Cross.” There will be no evening service Sunday. You are invited to join us for a time of refreshment and spiritual renewal. Nursery will be provided. For additional information, call Westside Baptist Church, 1522 N. 24th St., Corsicana, (903) 874-874-4640.
