Kinsloe House will host its First Sunday Luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Everyone is invited. Members and non-members must call the Kinsloe House at (903) 874-5791 by Nov.1 by 3 p.m. to make reservations. You must give the time you wish to come and what you wish to eat. The entrée selections will be roast turkey with gravy or classic pineapple baked ham with classic southern dressing, buttery mashed potatoes, sweet corn and with it all will be Miss Debra’s wonderful rolls. Dessert will be pumpkin spice sheet cake with caramel pecan frosting or simply southern banana pudding. Cost will be $13 per person. It’s a great place to come for a good meal, catching up on things with friends, and visiting. Everyone always has a great time.
The City Of Blooming Grove will hold its Monthly City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m. at Blooming Grove City Hall, 200 S. Fordyce, Blooming Grove, TX 76626.
The Southern Pacific Sunbeam Club will meet at IHOP in Ennis. This will be another day of food, fun and fellowship while plans are discussed for the upcoming holiday activities. The whistle will blow at 11:30 a.m. for all railroaders, both active and retired, for relatives and friends of railroaders, and those who love a train.
The Corsicana Rotary Club will celebrate election day with a reception from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at The Cook Center. All candidates are invited to the reception tent near the Air Force Fighter. The chili is from a winning contest recipe and the Rotarians will greet you with open arms.
