Corsicana — The Corsicana Independent School District has announced it is working with city police and firefighters Monday night after a bomb threat was found written on a bathroom wall.

In a news release from the district, the threat was found written on a wall in the Disciplinary Alternative Education Program men's restroom at the high school.

The message read: "I'm gana bomb the school 1-29-13 do it."

The district said the discovery is being taken very seriously. Corsicana Police and firefighters are working with school administration and school law enforcement to completely search the campus Monday night.

The district curtailed evening programs and practices early Monday night, the release said.

"We cannot begin to question the sincerity of the threat," said Dr. Diane Frost, CISD superintendent. "We will proceed with every precaution to protect the safety of our students and staff."
