Dec. 12

The Flower Committee at Kinsloe House will present their contribution program called "Wrap It Up.” It's time to make your reservation to join us for a fun time. Mark your calendar soon as no reservation can be made after noon on Monday, Dec. 10.  The house is all dressed up for the holidays and we hope you will enjoy a joyous occasion. Dress is Christmas casual! The committee members are Sandra Curtis, Judith Steely, Joan Summitt, Arlene Stewart, Linda Cross, Terri Orn, Barbara Erwin, Rita Edens, and Pam Dunn.  Kay Hable is the chairman. We will be looking for you!  

James Blair Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12 at the Kinsloe House. The Christmas Program will be presented by the Sam Houston Elementary School Bell Choir. Hostesses for the event will be Beth Chapman and Mary Lou McKie.

Workforce Solutions for North Central Texas, 720 N. Beaton, will hold a workshop titled “How to Avoid Messing up an Online Application.” It will be from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. For more information call (903) 874-8276.

Dec. 13

Twilight Home will hold “Can the Van,” a food drive to benefit the Navarro County Food Pantry. Between now and Dec. 13, you’re invited to come by Twilight at 3001 W. Fourth Ave. and drop off canned or non-perishable food items, which will be delivered to the Food Pantry Dec. 13. For more information call (903) 872-2521.

Dec. 14

The Corsicana Newcomers' Club will hold its Christmas meeting at 11 a.m. at the Kinsloe House.  Zanada Schoppert will entertain the group with a medley of holiday favorites.  This is the perfect way to celebrate the Holidays with friends old and new!  Representatives from our charities will be on hand to receive our donations to their organizations.
